Rv washing

Is it a good idea to clean a dirty camper with a 1600psi pressure washer?

I wouldn't do it and I use just the spray from my hose and car soap.

On the sides, I would NOT recommend using the pressure washer, as the decals will not handle that pressure very will. Although, I do my roof with a 1200 psi unit, but I do not keep the tip close to the roof or in a narrow spray pattern. You will be amazed at how much dirt comes off the roof/AC unit. Just remember not to use a narrow stream and keep the tip well away from the roof. I use Tetfortd Roof cleaner/conditioner with it. I repeat this every 6 months.

As Tunce the traveler suggested, we use car soap and a regular hose/brush.

Just my thoughts,

Don

I wouldn't use it on a rubber roof, definitely not on decals either. If normal pressure isn't enough from a garden hose or car wash, you need to spend some time scrubbing.
