Satellite reception in BR

Hello Bluejay 40 : I saw your post today. I have a 2017 330 rsts like yours. I have a tv
in the BR. It came that way. I have a dish tailgater that I use to get dish in the LR. Have
been hooking my outside coax cabel to the sat 3 aux in the out side docking station to
watch tv in the LR. Can I get satellite in the BR. It was not explained when we took
delivery last fall. Any info will help.
Thanks Jon- Luc

The 330RSTS TT is wired for Sat in the bedroom as well as the LR. I have used it just fine with my DirecTV setup and a tripod dish. But my Slimline "residential" dish mounted to a tripod is designed to pick up all 3 DirecTV sat's simultaneously and supports up to 15 tuners in a single coax.

BUT.........

Domed dishes like the tailgater are a different animal and I have never used one or have ever had Dish for my provider so all I know about them is what I have read. From what I do know, the basic Tailgater model only supports one TV, can only aim at one Sat at a time and if you are able to get a picture on the second, which is usually done by connecting a second TV to the back of the receiver your already using in the LR (yeah, that would be a pain in the 330), you will have to watch the same channel on both TV's all the time.

If you have a Tailgater 2, then it can aim at all 3 dish sat's at once, supports two TV's, and you would be able to watch different channels on different TV's. And if you wanted to use the trailer's wiring to connect it then I would GUESS that you would connect second coax from the Tailgater to say the antenna feed or maybe the other sat connection and connect the BR TV to that.

But may I suggest you open a separate thread about this question where MANY others that actually use the Tailgater and probably have already asked this same question, will not only see your question, but can help out more than I.
