Scrapped side of 176RB

While entering a park recently I scrapped the side of my Starcraft 176RB. It did not do any real damaged jsut left a big mark about 6 inches wide down the drivers side of the trailer. Anyone know of a good way to rub this out or a way to fix it? Starcraft version of the 17Z.

Just as a suggestion, you might try to post this in the TechTalk section.

If the mark is just on the surface, you might try a Magic Eraser, assuming the side is fiberglass. If painted metal, something like McGuiar's or Mother's might take it off. Both of these are available at most automotive paint jobbers, like DuPont or PPG.

IF the magic eraser does not work then try wheel and tire cleaner... DONT LET IT RUN ON ANYTHING IMPORTANT best to spray it on a rag and RUB RUB RUB.. you will have to REWAX the area...

Is it a gouge in the surface or a transfer? For a transfer mark from another source the old Turtle Wax in the bottle is hard to beat.

It is a scrap that appears on the surface. It has very little depth to it. I just caught the top outside edge of the Entrance building at a state park. The roof was made of cedar shingles and I just removed a few of them. Apparently this has happened before as per the Park Ranger .

I saw a product on rvtravel.com today called Wade Maid (wierd name huh?). Anyhow you can see the product, and video at wademaid.com. I've not tried it, and so cannot recommend it but the video was fairly convincing.

Magic Eraser did the trick. Had to use some elbow grease but makes it look almost like new. Thanks for all info.
