Sewer drainage hose recommendation
So as I am emptying the grey tank yesterday I find a very small leak in our drainage/sewer hose. These things happen. Does anyone know if there is one brand better than another ?? I have heard good things about the Rhino kit but just wanted to hear what the J.O.F. had to say.

Rhinoflex works great for us. I read that they have come out with a even heavier duty version.

I use a Sewer Solution but am hesitant to recommend them because the last time I did, I was chastised for using too much water

I've had great success for many years with Valterra EZ Coupler sewer hoses and fittings.

15 ft. Rhino hose, 5 ft. Rhino extension hose and a Rhino clear 45 degree coupler at the trailer valve so I can see when my tanks are flushed properly. All fits into the bumper of my Eagle. Also have a 20 ft. scissor sewer hose support. Good for 4 years now.

The Septic Adapter is the only piece that doesn't fit in a standard 4" bumper....here's a link to my mod to make it work... http://www.jaycoowners.com/showthrea...ight=rhinoflex

Like "Trout" I also have a Sewer Solution. I've not yet been slapped for the water usage but can see the argument. That issue aside, I think it's the stuff. Have used mine for about 2 years and have had no problems at all. It comes with a 10' section and I had to get an additional 10' to make the longer runs to sewer hook-ups. It seems to rinse out really well. While in storage I keep it in a clear plastic box and leave the lid off so it will dry out completely and have never had a problem with a smell from it. When we bought our TT the dealer gave us the "starter" kit which included a low end slinky. I keep it in the rear bumper as a backup.

I have a Sewer Solution that I use if the dump pipe is too far away. On rare occasions we may pull into a site backwards in order to face our friends camper. Otherwise I use the blue slinky with red ends. I've had it so long I forget the brand name. One thing about the SS is that a lot of gunk remains in the black tank because there is no sudden rush of liquid as there would be with the slinky. I found this fact out during my tank replacement project last week (details in the problems & issues section).

That's true Steve. The back flush on the SS helps and I use the wand on occasion too.
