sink drain

Hey there, so just took our pop up out for the first time. Bought a used 09' Baja and really like it except when i went to use the sink it didn't drain and i realized it wasn't hooked up to the gray tank like the shower not sure why they wouldn't connect the two. And since this is my first i thought i'd ask....so do most people drain into an external tank? and if so what's the best one to get iv'e seen the Smart tote. Another ? does filling up the F.water tank before you leave the house a good idea or bad, i was wondering if the weight is an issue. But if you dry camp than i would think you don'y have a choice

You should drain into an external tank. You can get a regular gray water tank or buy a blue 7 gal. Aquatainer at walmart and drain into that. I only tow with my water tank full IF and WHEN there isn't a place to get water at the campground. Almost always I tow with my tanks empty.
