Small inverter use

This might be a rather dumb question, but here goes. Once in a long while, I've used a little lighter socket 75 watt inverter to power my laptop whilst my wife was driving. It worked just fine while driving. Can I use one in my TT to do the same? I have two good batteries in the TT. I also have two good batteries in my old Suburban TV, with a cut-off on the second battery to ensure startup.

Glad to see a 75 worked. Just got a 140w for trip to AZ.

Are you asking if you can power your laptop from the TT while driving or once you get to where you're going? Assuming you are camped and you have shore power, you can plug it directly into any one of your AC outlets. If you're running off batteries only, yes, an inverter (recommend pure sine wave) will power your electronics.

If it works while driving it will work while parked... till your batteries get too low... and with a 75 watt inverter that will take a while

If you try to use an inverter out of the tv socket in your camper, you will only be able to get 40 to 50 watts most likely. It is not rated for very much power and I have not had much success using it.
