Surge protector issues

I have a progressive industries pt30c surge protector and something seems to be wrong with it. I plug into the power pole and it says 120 volts, 60hz, 0 A (guessing that is amps). The error code is a zero. When I plug in my power we have no power in the camper. When I bypass the surge protector then we have power in the trailer. Am I doing anything wrong?

Sounds like your surge protector is bad.

Did you wait 2 minutes before determining there was a problem?

For the first 2 minutes the device will flash a dot in the lower right corner of the display indicating it is in the time delay mode. This feature is to protect your air conditioner from starting against high head pressure when a momentary power interruption occurs.

Technical point: A PT30 is much more than a surge protector. It is an EMS - Energy Management System.

I have a PT50, and although the manual says there is a 2 minute delay, it actually takes almost 2 1/2 minutes, but then it comes on just fine, every time. If you still don't have power after the time delay, then I suggest you call the toll free number for Progressive Industries in your manual. They are very helpful, and will take care of you quickly.

I did forget to to wait the two minutes. I found a Manual on line and I am going to try it again. Thanks for the responses.
