Table with pullout extension

We inadvertently brought the master slide in while the table was still extended- There was a loud "cracking" sound before we stopped the slide- The table was loose at the pedestal and floor plate and tipped enough to spill food on the table- Has anyone on this forum had a similar experience and how did you repair the damage ? Your experience and opinions requested- THANX in advance- DD

I have had several replies from Jayco concerning our problem- The bottom line is that Jayco can't help because they have NO data to disseminate- They contacted the table supplier who also had NO data- I already have had minimal assistance from several Jayco dealers, so I guess I'm on my own to solve my problems, both current and future- My question is this, what good is Jayco customer service? RANT over- JMHO- DD

Table with pullout extension

So Jayco doesn't have a replacement table you can purchase? And neither does the table manufacturer? What year is your trailer?

Edit: your profile says 2007. So do they no longer make that model or a model with the same table? Or they've changed it significantly? There isn't a table from a current model that will work?

I would seek out a friend or neighbor - or someone recommended - who has some decent woodworking skills and tools to help you repair the damage. If you lived closer, I'd offer to help, as I have a woodworking shop attached to my garage. But you are about 900 miles away, so that's not much help.
