Tank Access?

I will be adding SeeLevel guages on my trailer in the near future. Has anyone every had to gain access to the storage tanks on an Eagle Superlite fifth wheel? How difficult is the access, what do you do to gain access?

This is the model I will probably use: http://www.rvgauge.com/products/model_7094.shtml

The SeeLevel line of monitors uses a different system to determine liquid level. Instead of physical contacts in the tank (which get covered in goo, and causes them not to sense levels properly), the SeeLevel system uses electronic magic and senses level through the tank, and remain accurate. We boondock a bit, and knowing the remaining gray water capacity is nice.

You have to attach an electronic circuit strip to the outside of the tank, and then use the old wiring to connect the sensors to the display panel. So, I have to figure out how to get access to the tanks. (At the moment, difficult for me to do, since the trailer is still in Indiana being built.)

Most likely you would have to get the location of the tanks, then cut or remove the black plastic underbelly under the unit under the tanks to access the tanks. But I would check with the dealer or Jayco to see exactly what is involved as I`m just guessing here. Anything you take down must be of course properly reinstalled. On mine the bottom is open and all 3 tanks and their plumbing are clearly visible and access would be easy. Yours being a 5er will probably have the enclosed underbelly to keep the tanks warm in Winter. Good luck with the project.
