tankless water heater in Jayco Melbourne

I'm wondering if anybody with the tankless water heater are having any luck with them working properly? Were on the road in Texas from Canada and can not get this "thing " to work at all. We have pruged all the water lines , yes including the outside shower, after we dewinterized our RV but to no avail. The hot water with the flow rate full is still way to hot and it cycles from hot to cold steadily.

While we wait for a response from Jayco I was just wondering if anyone has had an issue or had an issue fixed. Apparently there is a newer version on the market now that Jayco is installing.

There was a previous long thread about someone having a lot of issues with a tankless water heater. Water was way too hot and couldn't control. Finally, rep from company said it had a bad controller and was replacing.

They had a lot of issues with a new unit, so the thread may be hard to find in a search.

Here's one of the threads

Tankless Water Heater

I was one of those who had numerous issues with the newest generation of Girard water heaters in a 2013 Melbourne. First unit was faulty and needed to be replaced. Replacement "worked" for TWO days before encountering another fault. My attempts to communicate with Jayco Service about my issues essentially fell upon deaf ears. It is an expensive solution... but replacing the Girard product with a traditional Atwood (or Suburban) water heater was the only thing I could find acceptable. Dealing with the Girard product was making my camping experiences miserable. Just came back from a weekend trip down in Destin area (Topsail), and Atwood unit worked perfectly. It's nice not to have to worry about taking an unstable, excessively hot or cold shower, and filling my gray tank in the process. Not sure why Jayco treats this product as an upsell. If you think about it, the only reason is because it is cheaper that traditional units. I did not have a pleasant experience with Girard, but what surprised me most was that Jayco Service really doesn't care what their end users think. Something has changed at Jayco in the last decade. They didn't used to be this way.
