Noticed the water pump lighted switch was lit and water pump was running but the switch was off. OK bad switch no problem. Opened the panel to replace the switch. Still no problem. Removed the wires from the switch and the pump did not shut off. Has to be a short but how and where. Called Jayco support, no help. Opened a wire by the pump to shut it off but it's been running dry and the seals are probably shot. I'm an electrician but this has me baffled. Made an appointment with the dealer but that's 3 weeks away. Anyone have an idea?

My fifth wheel has a second water pump switch down by the outside shower.

And Greyhawks have three water pump switches: In the command panel above the entry door, on the bathroom wall and in the water valve control center in the rear cargo bay.

Usually running dry doesn't hurt an RV pump.
