We have put just under 180 on our trailer and dealer said we should check that the wheels are still in proper torgue. It was done just before we pulled it home.

I did order an owners manual from Jayco but I am heading out before it gets here. Does anyone know what the proper torgue is for this model (Bassdogs or any other peer owners?)

Short answer is "I don't know, but a local rv dealer s/b able to help you. Think pretty much all TT wheel torques should be basically the same. I've pulled about 1200 miles and [I'm bad] I not checked mine. Will do it for sure before next outing which may well be in late Jan when we head south for a few weeks. Will be interested in hearing what the gear heads have to say about your question.

Most 14", 15", and 16" wheels I've seen the lug torque in the 90ft.lbs. to 120ft.lbs. range...... with steel wheels on the low end of the range and alloy wheels on the higher end of the range. IMO 90-120 would be a safe bet, but do confirm once you receive your manual.

Below is copied from Dexter's specs for axles with steel wheels....while not specific to aluminum rims - there is commonality between max torque specs for grade 8 hardware, torque sequence and torque stages. Also note there is (on average) a 30# torque allowance (for steel wheels)....so it's not rocket science.
