Trying to keep the humidity down in storege

It rains a lot here in the PNW so keeping dry is important during storege. In just 10 days of not even entering the TT I got 3-3/4 cups. of water and I have done this since November . I have no mold or mildew or musty smell inside so I think using a dehumidifier works well for me in my area.
What I bought was an Eva-Dry EDV-2200 mid size dehumidifier for $99.00 and it's going into its 2nd year of use. And my TT is 22' long+ the large slideout. It makes no noise and it's in use in Spring and Fall when camping and with 2 windows cracked a bit at night my Hybrid tent ends are dry.

Does it have to be plugged in during use? I use both Damp-Rid and two Eva-Dry dehumidifiers that are NOT plugged in during use. You only plug them in to recharge/dry the desiccant they contain.

We have a clunky old dehumidifier in out trailer and I swear we got three gallons of water out of it since November. Nice that the trailer seems like new come spring time. No mustiness at all.

We have a Frigidaire dehumidifier that we keep running when we are parked at home. It fills up and shuts off when full. We dump it every 3-4 days.

Yes, it needs to be pluged in.

We have the exact opposite problem here, lack of humidity. In the summer, if you go looking at RV's it''s common to have a dishpan of water in the sinks, just to add some humidity.

Tunce and I ended our camping season the 3rd week of November and this is the 3rd week of February and it's been so wet here that I haven't been able to put 3 good days together for a wash and wax to start our next trip in April. I feel for you not having any rain in your area, guess I shouldn't complain.
