TST 507 System Problem

I have the TST 507 system and it has worked perfectly until this past Wednesday. I have 8 sensors, 4 on my truck and 4 on the 5'er. I was getting ready to move off of my home base and was turning the 507 monitor back on to monitor the 5'er after reinstalling the 5'er wheel sensor.s I leave the system on my truck all the time even when not towing.

I pressed the minus and mode button at the same time and held until the trailer icon showed up. The problem was that the left rear trailer wheel was not showing up after the other three did. I waited for close to 10 minutes. Thinking the battery might be dead even though the low battery indicator wasn't visible. The new battery didn't help. I then erased the sensor coding for that for that wheel and tried to recode. The monitor would not recode that sensor. Out of desperation I decided to try to code that sensor to the outside dual location for that axle. I use the inside dual location for all of my sensors since I don't have dual wheels. When I tried the outside dual location the sensor set and worked perfectly not only then but for my trip to Florida.

I called TST and they said the monitor was obviously bad and they are mailing me a new one no charge. They did ask that I return the old one to them so they can see what the problem is as they haven't seen that particular problem previously. I told them I had one sensor that was not retaining the gasket in the valve stem very well even with a new one installed. They are replacing that sensor as well.

This is what I call good customer service. All it will cost me is postage to mail the old monitor back.

I reported my problem to TST on 5-14-14 as I was loading up to head south. The replacement monitor and sensor arrived at my summer host park yesterday.
