When the slides go out, there's plenty of noise... enough noise that a roller would definitely make things quieter!

Like I said in my first response, rollers would make the slide mechanism quite capable. So much that I would hazard a guess the limiting weight factor would not be the slide mechanism, but rather the wall of the trailer.

MAYBE the reason the pinnacle is a superior unit to the jay flight is because it has rollers under the slide arms. Either way, I wasn't trying to offend anyone.

Craig, no offense on our part. Thanks once again for your info. Greatly appreciated. Now it's research time!

You should not have any grease on the slide rails that just attracts dirt & grime.

I will admit when I'm wrong. I was wrong.

I looked very close tonight, and dogGonnit there are nylon rollers supporting the bottom of the slide arms!

I looked past what I had assumed were the slide bearings, into the assembly and I see them clear as day.

I still think a manual is a place to look for ratings.

Hubby Jay looked into our slide out system and it is a Lippert system. He is calling them to get technical questions answered since Jayco Tech help did not help us at all. Hanks again all of you for your great insight! I will let you know what we find out
