Which TV to purchase

We took delivery on our new Jayco Jay Light 28BHBE in April. Our TV is a Ford F150. We are looking to purchase another TV and wanted some feedback on Chev. 2500, Ford 250, or Dodge 2500. We have graduated from tent to TT so this is a whole new world for us.
Thanks for any info.

If you were to take the best qualities from all three and put those things into one truck I'd tell you to get that one but since I'm a Chevy guy I'll tell you to stick with the Fords. Seriously all three are good and will get the job done.
This will be a interesting thread to say the least.

The Cummins is the best engine for pulling, but the Allison transmission in the GM trucks is far superior to what the other two offer, and the Duramax is a good engine as well. Other than that, I prefer the looks, ride and over all comfort of the GM. Fords, I don't/wouldn't even consider.

I'm a F150 Ecoboost refugee. I've always been a Ford guy, and had my heart set on a 2013 F350 XLT with the 6.7 Scorpion. As a favor to a friend I checked out a 2013 Chevy 3500HD LT+ with the 6.6 Duramax. I felt the Chevy's interior was lacking but the driving experience was better, so I chose the Chevy.

I'd say try out all 3. You can't go wrong and all 3 will pull the 28BHBE without blinking.

If you end up with the diesel, everytime you use the exhaust brake it will make you smile.

Buy any of them with a Ford badge on it, it's up to you.

Dodge if you can get the 5.9L Cummins. Ford if you can get the old 7.3L Powerstroke.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like I will get to do a lot of test driving and option choices. I'm not really a Dodge guy but will try that option too.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Ford's 6.7 liter. It will pull with anything out there. Use to be GM made the strongest transmission with its Allison. Truth is both Ford and Dodge have made big increases in there transmission strength and durability. I don't think there is a any reason to say one is better then the other. Except for personal preference. I personally like the Ford diesel with the 3:55 gears. I had a 2008 Chevy with the duramax and Allison transmission. I did not care for the electronic shift setup in the transmission. I'm sure GM has changed it since then. That gave me a bad taste for GM. That is what personal preference is all about.

All 3 are great vehicles so go drive em all and if they all feel the same to you, choose the best negotiated deal.

It is a big decision, will it be Lariat or King Ranch, its not easy but you will pick the best one for you.

Like many have said all three have great features and some room for improvement. IMO all the engines are great with a slight edge to Ram's CTD. Again all have excellent transmissions with the edge to GM. So being they are all effective to perform the task they are designed for then it comes to styling, comfort, and price. Start with which one you like the best from a looks perspective and see what kind of deal you can get.

The trucks are close enough to be personal preference but the Cummins is the best engine. That would be my choice.

Thanks for all the responses. We did purchase a Dodge 2500 with 5.7 Hemi, with 4WD (don't know if we will need that or not). Makes me feel safer about towing our 28BHBE than with the F150. Long trip this weekend to try it all out.

Post up how it goes, I'm interested to read about your experience.

I've been eyeing the new ones with the 6.4...

We are currently in the same situation, we are going to be purchasing a new TV probably in the next year. We have test driven the big three so far and still do not have a solid winner! I love the Fords, mostly because I love my 07 150, but my wife loves the Longhorn Ram and I like how the '15 GMC Denali's ride. But overall I still find myself gravitating toward the Ford F-250 Lariat. I do agree that any one of these would be a great choice, albeit an expensive one! LOL
