It is a beautiful truck. DH took his 2012 Ram for an oil change and started looking around the showroom. We ended up trading in the 2012 Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4 Crew Cab Diesel for a 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4 Mega Cab Diesel. Major difference in the ride with the coil suspension and much quieter inside. DD was much more comfortable in the back seat on our 7000 mile trip. Never heard her complain once. DH loves all the features. Here in AZ the air cooled seats are great during the summer.
Enjoy your new truck. I know we do.

Looked at the mega cab but they downgrade the hp on the 6.4 Hemi to 370. So that was out but love the room the have...incredible for a 2500 and the suspension this year is so nice.
I like the diesel lots but honesty not sure I'd ever have needed such a rig with our driving habits and work is a 15 or 20 min ride. Never had one either so...well, stayed with what I've had and what has worked great for us...Hemi's.

The Laramie is just beautiful on the inside, comfortable too and you can forget you are in a truck. The new 5 link coil suspension and the 6.4 Hemi added that extra bit I couldnt say no too.
Cant wait for our first outing! Would love to do 13,000 miles at one time but gotta pay for all this fun now!

Nice truck! I'm looking to purchase a Ram Laramie Ecodiesel and then purchase the JayFlight 26BH. Do you think I'll have any issues towing it? I shouldn't but I keep questioning myself. The 26BH is about 4300 dry and maxes out at 7k. Ideally I'd like to pack light and keep it around 6k.

Nice!
I just made the leap from a 1/2 ton to a RAM 2500 myself!
2 trips so far and loving the difference in towing.

The Ram Ecodiesel will not have a problem towing that TT I wouldn't think. They have good torque and the payload is s tad higher than on the 1500s so you should be fine. Certainly within the published tow rating and payload.
My 1500 was awesome at towing about anything I threw back there. The problem was I ran out of payload every time! I had the ram boxes and steps on the side, plus it was a Laramie so my payload was only about 1300 total pounds. Time I added the trailer tongue weight, two passengers and some gear, I was maxed.
Now I have 2800# of payload and can tow more weight too so all is good now!
Plus, who doesn't like a new truck!

Nice looking rig. I want a 2500 6.4 mega cab in white. Fantastic looking truck, tons of power in a gas engine and supposed to be a great ride for a 3/4 ton truck. Enjoy it and keep us updated how it does for you.

Update so far on milage...all city driving I'm averaging 12.1 mpg. The EVIC says 12.3 so not far off from my hand calculation.
No issues or problems to mention about the truck. Not towed with it yet as we don't have our TT yet. Hoping in the next couple weeks and then we'll plan our first trip.
So far, loving this thing! Feels really nice when driving, very comfortable, plenty of power for daily driving.
I expected about 13 to 15 daily driving so a little below that right now but I typically do some highway miles and just haven't so far.

Milage is at 13.6 now, little more highway miles this time but still mostly city. Planning to head out on Labor Day weekend though for a 10+ hour drive to the in-laws so we'll see how she does on the highway.
I picked up a nail in my rear passenger tire last weekend (at a friends house) and it was replaced under my Road Advantage warranty, no cost to me! The tire was $300 and then installation and balance the total was $351...but zero to me. I've always bought warranties and such but never used them. Guess it finally paid off for me.
No issues with the truck other than the tire but that really wasn't a problem, more of an incident. Loving this thing still and cannot wait to hook up the White Hawk and pull it!

Can't find this on the Ram site. The 3500 is 370 hp, but for the 2500 there are no disclaimers against the mega cab.

Just thought I'd share and get your thoughts. I really like the MegaCab, but don't want to lose the hp to get it. Am looking at one like yours, but blue.

So, spoke to dealer today, and yep. Couldn't get an answer why they decrease the HP. But, not looking at MegaCab now.

I think I found the info on another forum (ramforumz.com)...dealer confirmed it for me while I was emailing them.

I am not proud to say that I was in the 8 MPG area!!! However,in its defense it was mountainous terrain(up and down hills) and my first time towing with this truck, and I couldnt wait to get away so MPG didnt matter as much as distance from Baltimore did!!!!!!
As for regular driving I am only averaging about 12 MPG also..I joined that forum and a few others to get as much info as I possibly can..
