2015/2016 Percent off MSRP - What are current prices

I posted the following on Dieselplace.com. I figured there are a bunch of people on here that have gone through this - not sure how long ago. Wanted to see if anyone on here could answer my question:

Looking for a 2015/2016 GMC/Chevy 2500/3500 SRW Duramax LBZ. Want it in summit white with the cocoa leather with heated/cooled seats. Want the chrome towing mirrors. I have been going back and fourth between 2WD/4WD. Rarely use 4WD, wife actually said she wants me to get 4WD, but it's $3200 more per MSRP.

MSRP shows around $61000-63000. I have read a couple of posts, trying to get my question answered, to see what the current actual prices are or what a good/ok deal would be off MSRP. I read 10% is ok and 15% is a good deal.

I want to get $20000 for my LLY (low mileage and good shape) and then finance $30000, but that means I need the actual price of the truck to be $50000.

I looked on the Dennis Dillion website and see the current trucks they have at $51000-53000 for similar trucks, but don't know if this is the best they can do, or is there negotiating still available.

Dennis Dillion doesn't negotiate. Their listed price is as low as they will go. That being said their prices typically beat everyone else.

I was trolling the web earlier and ran across a forum with 140 pages of people posting Chevy/gmc prices today. Looks like 10-15% is not hard to get off msrp. Some got less and others more, but most got 6-8000 off msrp. I need to see what discounts are available for end of year. Dennis Dillon is pretty close, but I really want to get out the door for their asking price and $1000 less. That puts me at $50000 out the door. I am optimistic that a new truck is in my future, but not enough to get a bad deal.

I haven't bought a new car in years but when I did I would always deal with the fleet manager especially when what I wanted was specific. See if you can find out invoice price. Their job is to move metal and it was easier in my opinion to work with them vs. a salesman on commission. Maybe you know all that or more than I do but thought I'd throw it out there.

The best way to get a deal on a new vehicle is to buy off the internet. Just keep getting quotes and let the dealers beat themselves down. It may take a while but it works great and you do not have to drive all over town. They will find the vehicle, from wherever, and do all the leg work. Take all these quoted to your local stealer, if you are so inclined and it makes life easier for you at the end, servcice wise.

I have yet to not get a really good price. The dealers whine but without any competition, it is hard to say what invoice is.
