2016 Chevy Duramax Trans Gauge

My 2005 Duramax/Allison had a dedicated transmission temperature gauge. My 2016 does not. Its not in the digital DIC gauges nor is it visible when in Tow/Haul mode like some 2015 and previous model owners have indicated in the Duramax Diesel Forum. I have asked for some feedback from a 2016 owner in that forum but haven't had a response yet. Does anyone here on JOF who has a 2016 know where, or even if this year model truck has this temp gauge? A call to the factory proved worthless and the manual doesn't help.

I have not seen one on mine maybe only get a message if gets to high.

My gas 2016 has one, I had to navigate thru one of the menus and enable it to be displayed. I would be surprised if yours was different. If you can't find it I can look at mine to see where I enabled it.

Get in to the settings of the DIC. There are pages that are turned off by default. I believe it is in there.

Does your vehicle have the towing package? If not, the trans temp gauge function may be deleted.

Thank to all of you who responded....got into the DIC settings and found out it had, in fact, been turned off by default like bearcat77 suggested. Anyway, entered it into my DIC list and now can monitor the trans temp.
