Man I can,t believe it, the dealer call me today said that my truck came in yesterday and as the driver was taken it off he put a scratch on it, on the top so the dealer told me that he was going to send me pics of it to see if I still want it. He said that they going to fix it or I can order another one or just back out and get my money back. What should I do?

Here is the bad news again.

Personally for that little ding I would have had them fix it and throw some extras your way for the hassle.

Have them throw in a bed liner or tonneau cover or both.

... and have them fix the ding. Probably the transporter co. insurance will cover the majority of the claim.

Dealers can get a new allocation and be moved to the front of the line when they have a delivery that gets damaged in transport.

Having worked in a Ford dealership body/paint shop for almost 40 years, I would have no problem having them repair that minor ding. Although I can not speak for the dealership you are dealing with, when we did a repair it came with a written lifetime warrenty on the work performed. That is a better warrent than the factory provides. iIf this unit is equipted as you ordered it, have them do the repair, then make the decision as to your next step. To me waiting a week for the repair vs an unknown amount of time for a replacement would be a better choice. Who is to say the replacement may not arrive with damage ?

I am surprised they even told you. They are always repairing new cars that acquire road damage and the like.

I used to be a new car inventory manager and I can assure you, it happens all the time.
