Anyone using Durango V8 Hemi as a TV?

Taking delivery of our new 264 BH on Fri woo hoo! We have a 2012 Durango with the 5.7 Hemi and I was wondering if anyone else is towing with one and what kind of experience they have had. We had an 18' hybrid which was 2700lbs and had no problems towing it but I only towed this camper once on flat terrain.

Durango towing capacity 7400 lbs
Jayco dry Wieght ~4300 lbs

Collin,

I tow a 2013 Jayflight 28BHS with a 2008 Durango 4x4 w/5.7. All things considered the Durango does a great job, I did however experience the joys of towing a long trailer with a light short wheelbase when I had my equalizer hitch setup. Due to the instability of my initial setup I ordered a Hensley Arrow and I couldn't be happier with the combo.

All that said, I believe the 2012 Durango is now a unibody configuration vs a truck on frame design and your experience may differ.

Best of luck,

Matt
