axle/ spring noise

I have a Jayflight 19 footer. Last time I raised and lowered the tongue there was a popping sound coming from the axle/spring area. Any ideas what is causing these noises. Last outing we were driving over bad roads thru Az Indians reservations. Any ideas will be appreciated. P.S. Tires track correctly.

I would check the spring perches and the equalizer between the springs. My guess you have some bad wear and need some maintenance. Possibly need to replace rubber bushing or the equalizer needs to be replaced. None of it is really all that bad, just rather fix it at home verse while on the side of the road.

if your at all handy, pull the wheels and look over the suspension. If you have an assistance, have them raise and lower the tongue, while you are listening, so you can identify a starting place to look.
