Brakes?

I hooked up our trailer and I have no trailer brakes ever thing else works. I checked the fuse under the hood and it is good (I think it was #19). Any Ideas where to check next. I have 2012 Chevy HD 2500 Duramax.

You say you checked the fuse, but are the cables connected to the terminals under the fuse block under the hood? On my LMM Duramax, there were two cables with ring attached, but the cables were just tucked under the fuse box. There were two threaded terminals the cables needed to be attached too. These cables provide 12v constant and trailer brakes to the 7 way connector

I don't remember if the trucks said a trailer was connected but I don't think so. There has not been any work on the truck so all the wires should be there. But I will check in the morning.

The cables come unattached from the factory, I don't know why. A bit like the previous generation in where you had to install the relays since they shipped in the glove box, not already in the block.

Once you get the cables on the posts I bet you will be all set.

I would think the cables were connected since the brakes worked fine until earlier his week but I will check maybe it came off.
