Buying from out of state - Where do you have your hitch work done?

Hello Everyone,

We are looking at buying a new rv from one of the wholesalers, like RV Direct or RV Express, etc.

We are newbies and wondering, if you've purchased your rig from out of state, where did you have your hitch work done? In your hometown or where you picked up the camper?

We're still going back and forth between a 5er or a TT, but this was one of the questions we had. Thank you!

When we bought our current trailer, out of state, we had the selling dealer do the hitch work. Once loaded I adjusted it a little. I have a Blue Ox Swap Pro WDH and it's very easy to setup. We have a trailer on order now and I will be buying another Blue Ox setup for the new trailer and will install it myself.
