CIPA Tow Mirrors for RAM 1500

Does anyone have these mirrors on a Dodge Ram 1500 with heated mirrors or lights on the mirrors:

http://www.cipausa.com/product/custo...-mirrors-11400

When I bought our trailer these were not available, and so I bought the Reese clip-ons, which although better than nothing are not really up to the job. I seen these on a Laramie which I know had heated mirrors and lights, but the information states they will not fit. Just wondered if anyone with a RAM had bought them and how they fitted.

Cheers

Same here, they weren't available for our 2010 so we used the clip on which we didn't like. We spent the $$ and replaced our mirrors for Mopar extendable towing mirrors

Personally, I would hold off on the CIPA's and look for a set of factory tow mirrors. You'll never regret the cost. Look on Craigslist and Ebay for deals. I just sold the stock Ram towing mirrors off my 2003 for $175 and they were power and heated.

I use these on my 2008 Ram 1500 and have not had any issues (other than a little vibration).

I did a lot of research on the CIPA mirrors and found that the #1 complaint was vibration at highway speeds. This was enough to steer me in another direction. I purchased the Fit System mirrors and they are worth their weight in gold! Low vibration, easy on and off, they look like they are part of the factory mirrors, they maximize the surface area of the mirror, and they don't stick out too far. I've attached the link to Amazon where they are $43 per set but I found mine on ebay for $25 for the set so shop around before you buy.

I had a set for my '09 RAM before trading it. Mine were made by K-Source but look to be very similar to these. They fit nice and snug and did not block the puddle lights. The mirror glass had some vibration on the highway but still very usable. For $50 it will be hard to find a better value.
