Coupler size

Hi, am very new and a recent buyer of a 2016 X23B. I pick it up this week and was wondering if this trailer has a 2" or 2 5/16" coupler. I plan on ordering an Anderson WDH and need to know what size it has.

thanks

You'll have to look at the actual coupler that has been welded to your hybrid. It all depends on what was in stock at the factory that week.

And don't trust anyone at the dealer to look at it for you!

I'd be willing to bet it's a 2 5/16"

$9.99 + shipping of somebody else's money?

Personally, I keep 1 7/8", 2" and 2 5/16" balls and a pintle hitch on hand. So I replace my inventory item after I get the new toy home. I waste my own money freely.

Well of course I'm willing to bet with someone else's money

I'm basing it on my 2015 23B being a 2 5/16". I'd be surprised if they'd change it, especially since you'd think the frame manufacturer installs that and not Jayco. I admit however that I am sometimes wrong...

We all have that problem.

Measure once cut twice always works for me.

Call your dealer. They should be able to tell you.

Frank,

There is a couple different style couplers that will NOT work with the Anderson system!!!! Not sure exactly which ones, or why, but verify the coupler style on your new tt before ordering the Anderson when you verify the size.

What is the gvwr if the tt?

Congrats on the new rig!!!

Thanks everyone. The coupler is 2 5/16" . I talked to the dealer and they are able to get and install the Anderson hitch.
I believe the trailer weight is 4950, not 100%. pick it up later this week.
