They are not really knocking a whole lot off are they?

Do you mean with the X-Plan pricing or at Invoice? I realize there's something called Hold Back $ (and I think that's the number to the left) but the invoice price is supposed to represent the dealer's cost. In a perfect world, if they offered it below cost (disregarding the hold back), they'd lose money, right?

The X plan. If MSRP is 38000 and Xplan is 35000 that just seems to be a small reduction off MSRP, or nothing really special, I have seen the general public get a significant amount off, including myself, unless I`m reading these numbers wrong (which is possible). My deal with the truck in my sig went like this, but I realize every deal is unique:

Sticker price with destination charges:
25780
GM rebate:
5000
Dealer discount:
2780
GM Credit card rewards
1150
GM credit card owner loyalty bonus
1000

Final price:
15,850

Ah, I now see why you feel that way. OK, the X-Price is before any available incentives. Currently here in Texas, that's $3.5k (cash & $1k Ford financing). I've also heard there's a $750 coupon available from Ford if you can get it. And finally, I should mention that this is on the EcoBoost engine so it's not as much as you might find on another brand.

Oh yeah, the Ecoboost is in high demand and therefore there will be less incentives and less give by the dealers. A friend of mine just bought one and said he had to search extensively to find what he wanted and dealers were not "dealing" much. But he loves the truck (Crew cab 4x4), MPG has been great so far, but he does not tow anything.

I ordered one with Heavy Duty Payload and Max Tow on 2/14. It will probably take 6-8 weeks before it's here but I am psyched. We have a trip planned starting at the end of May for about a month to Maine and back. In fact, I plan to stay a couple of nights at Hungry Mother SP there in your home state. Hope it's as nice as the reviews say.

That will be one nice towing machine, IIRC the payload and tow ratings are very high for that truck. Never been to Hungry Mother SP but most Virginia SP`s are nice. BTW 6-8 weeks is a long time to stay psyched waiting! But it will be worth it.
