Dave, I was wondering if you installed the airbags yourself and if it was a pain in the rear. I've watched some videos on installation and it doesn't seem all that difficult. I'm seriously considering installing the airbags even if I come under tongue weight at the CAT scale. I think they may be really beneficial, especially with a "heavy weight" TT like mine. Anyone else installed the Firestone Airbags out there? Terry

Terry, I did install them myself. Very simple install and the instructions are pretty decent. Airbags will help the ride quality and stability no matter what trailer weight you have. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Dave

Thanks Dave, I'll PM you with any questions that come up. Also, regarding the hitch label on our hitches, Bob is correct. The label states what the actual hitch can handle, not necessarily what the TV can handle. I think that could be a little misleading to some people [like myself] who didn't do their homework in this case. Found the airbags on Amazon at a pretty good price, going to order them this week. Thanks again, Terry
