AHHHHH the beauty of pulling a POPUP. My 4200lbs load with no wind resistance per say is almost non-existence when being pulled by my 2010 F150. I have to look hard at my gas mileage to see any difference.

Probably a conversation number would be less that 3-5%... I consistently use around 24-25 gallons of gas for my 2010 FX4 F150 SuperCab truck with 6.5 foot bed for my trips between King George VA and Gatlinburg TN gassing up at the 450 mile point whether I am pulling my 4200 lb trailer or not. I think it has the 36 gallon tank option. This includes flatland and some mountain long grade hills along US81. This is probably 80% Interstate driving... Normally I gas up around the 250 mile range but since I know where I am going on the Gatlinburg route I will run it out to the 450mile point. We are all creatures of habit hehe...

All of my camping roads seems to go to Gatlinburg from here. Once we get to Gatlinburg then we decide where to go from there hehe...

Strange enough I get better gas mileage going SOUTH then I do coming back to the NORTH on my Gatlinburg trips???.

about 50%. Going to Indiana this week, my truck averaged 15.2 to 16.2 MPG. Returning with trailer in tow it averaged 8.33 MPG. But, we were hauling on interstate highways at 65 to 75 mph. I suspect that traveling around 60 mph would yield a better result. Time will tell!

50% or so. In the winter I usually get 16 to 18 unloaded on the highway. Our trip this week yielded 9 1/2 mpg on our 340 mile round trip. MPGs are always worse with the winter mix gas... not sure but i feel like the ethanol is making it worse.

How much does your TV mileage drop under full load?

I'll add in my two cents at 50%. 2009 5.4 F-150 and trailer weighs ~9000lbs. 18 mpg empty and 9 mpg or so while towing at 65 mph.

Re: How much does your TV mileage drop under full load?

Empty my ecoboost gets 9.7 to 12 L per 100kms depending on driving speeds. Towing 33rlds which is 9900# loaded it drops to 15 to 18 L per 100 kms depending on terrain and speed.
