My Ford V-10 gasser gets about 12-14 mpg unloaded, and about 9-10 pulling the 11,000# 5er, which works out to be 25%, give or take.

15.6% 17.3 mpg empty and 14.6 mpg towing @ avg. 60-65 mph Cummins, baby!
Truck - 7,681# (motorcycle, passengers, cargo, fuel)
Trailer - 5,120# (loaded)

Our MPG was about cut in half last time we towed but then again we had some nasty head winds.
