New Ford F-250

We purchased a 28BHBE back in Feb and thought we would try towing it with our F-150. After 3 trips worth of getting bounced around on the freeway by our trailer, we decided to take the plunge for a Super Duty. We upgraded to an F-250 Lariat this weekend with pretty much all the upgrades. It's definitely a smoother ride and we can barely feel our rig behind us!

Beautiful truck and welcome to the proper way to tow, the Blue Oval way! Oops, probably gonna get nailed for that one.

Our experience was having to plan every trip to the T with our old F150 (max towing etc etc) regarding our packing the tt so we stayed within the 13-15% range . It was only 30+' long, and weighed no more than 7,500-ish pound loaded. The payload killed us.

We both REALLY wish we had the 3/4 ton to pull the last tt at the specs mentioned above. Sooooo grateful we could upgrade to the 3/4 ton to pull our current tt (much like your 28BHBE).

Congrats on the new truck! Your family will definitely tow safer with the upgrade that matches the rv you tow

We were actually shopping for XLT all the way as we don't really care for the upgrades with the Lariat. However, we couldn't find an XLT in our area that met our requirements, but we did find a Lariat that did which went a little over our budget. We got it for 13% off MSRP which was only $2k more than the XLT's we priced.

We bought our first towing truck way before we started needing a bigger truck, 1 ton dually and never regretted it. After a few years we got a new SRW diesel. Yowser, what a difference.

Any new truck is gonna make your towing experience much more pleasant.

Did not think I would ever use all of those Upgrades in my F250 Lariat. I even laughed at the salesman when he mentioned the Heated/Cooled Seats. Said I would never have a need for cooled seats. But boy, did I enjoy that cool feeling on my back a couple of times last summer. Use & enjoy all those upgrades!!!

Enjoy your new F250

Speaking of heated and cooled seats..... Whenever the DW turns on the cooled seats, she says it has a weird feel to it, kinda like you had to go potty, if you know what I mean.....

IOF...

Congrats on the F250... I see you got a 2WD, should tow very well.

I decided to go all out when we got ours, Ultimate Lariet Package and 4WD. I told myself why would I ever need the tailgate step but I guess I'm stuck with it. As high as my truck is and with my Cap I could never climb into the back without it, you never know you need it (or it is useful) until you have it.

The AC seats are nice after sweating in the Summer heat hooking up the rig!

I could do without the Moonroof but that's about it.

Gorgeous truck! That should do a much better job of pulling your camper. I'm looking forward to seeing the 2017 Superduty redesign. Should be interesting!
