I just got back from a 600 mile trip with the rig in my signature. My TV has the LBZ engine also. I averaged 13.1 mpg towing. Of course I tow slow. My adult daughter won't ride with me, but I don't care. I'm retired and I'll get there.

You will love that LBZ.

Congratulations... on a great truck... but really at only 62,000 it is NOT even broken in yet... got another 88,000 to finish breaking it in.

Another 88000 to get her broke in sounds great to me, i'm chomping at the bit to hook up and see how she pulls. But my oldest is in debate in high school and has a out of town debate to go to this weekend and my two younger girls both have soccer games on saturday, guess its not going to happen. But on a good note my wife and kids are loving the truck so far, they made her take them to school in it this morning. now i just need to get all the little accessories that i want for it. Is anyone here runnimg an aux fuel tank on theirs? Im going to get a toolbox for it, but im debating getting one with the aux fuel tank combined with the tool box. i'd like to have more than 325-350 mile range when towing.

Forget the second tank... get a TITAN TANK.. it fits where your current tank is and doubles capacity ... best of all it dont take up bed space.. Just google them.

Most important accesory to me is a cap. You need a place to put the generator, fishing poles, bicycles, etc., and out of sight, out of mind.

A lot of people like that extra tank. I really like to pull in and hit the snack bar and restroom every 3 to 4 hours so I don't see the extra tank as a necessity.

Gee I have a restroom and snack bar in my RV... and I find a lot of the new station designs make it much harder to pull in and out with an RV,

I really like fueling at truck stops, seems like they just work better with a trailer. I looked at the titan, thats pretty nice, they're proud of it too. i usually like to stop the least amount of times that i have to, but i dont wanna have to transfer from one tank to another either. ill just have to start saving and in the meantime try to convince the wife that i need this titan tank.
My dad always had the cap on his pickups, he had lots of rental property and kept lots of tools in there, that might be a good idea.

I'll have to take some pics, although it is kinda dirty from the rain we got yesterday. Its black so its going to hard to keep clean.
I'm excited to see how differently it pulls than the yukon xl with the 6.2, that i was planning on being my TV. But my wife loves the yukon and it will be nice for those long trips to see her family in louisana when we aren't towing.
