Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on this new dolly? Rated for 1000 lbs tongue and 10,000 lbs (which doesn't seem realistic), it might move our X213 fairly well? I was looking at fabricating something but...

I bought a powered unit for way less... I think using the cordless drill on it would make it very slow (not that any of them are fast anyway) but $600.00 and no motor.. seems expen$ive to me

I got mine at Princess Auto in Canada.. cannot remember the name of it.. but it was under $400.00

Yes... That Powerfist model has been discontinued. Too many issues and the rating of 5000lbs was not accurate.

I had a thought last night... Adding a hitch to the front of my truck would be under $300 including the extension bar. It would make things easier. Worst case scenario, I have a mount for bikes when the kids get older.

I'm eventually going to build a garage out behind my house that I'll use to store my trailer. I went back and forth a lot trying to figure out how I was going to back my trailer down the narrow space beside my house. It's the fence opening and the distance that are the problem; the gate opening is 10' and the distance is probably 50 yards with a turn and a couple obstacles thrown in for good measure. Anyway, I thought a hitch receiver on the front of my truck might be the perfect solution. And it will have multiple functions.

Agreed... Why not use the horsepower and maneuverability we already have in our trucks. The downside for me is unhooking and reconnecting although I'm told I should disconnect my WD and sway bar to get into a tight spot anyways.

Ya, all the connecting and disconnecting will be a drag. But if you think about it, you would have to do the same with an electric dolly mover anyway.

When the time comes (WAAAAAYYY down the road for us) I'll try to back it in first and see how bad it is. Then I'll price out a receiver on the front of the truck and see where I come out. Either way, it'll be worth it to me to have my trailer stored on my property.
