Our new tow vehicle
We just purchased a new 2013 Ford F-150 XLT with EcoBoost and 3.51 electronic lock rear axle to pull our soon to be Jayco X23B. We were somewhat nervous about towing it with our 2002 Expedition 4.6L V8, so we took the plunge! I believe towing capacity goes up to 9500 lbs up from 6300.

IceOnFire, welcome to JOF. I just picked up a F150 FX4 Ecoboost, love the truck. I have not towed my x20e yet (still in my breakin period), but with 11k of towing capacity with the 3.73 backend I don't think it will have any problem.

I think you'll miss the Expedition but I might be a bit bias.

Nice pics. I rode in a friends Eco boost towing his 32' 5er and was really impressed with the low end power.

Nice truck! You will love how the Ford will handle this load. This current gen F150 is IMHO the best yet- custom bred for this type of use in the half ton segment- everything just seems to sync seamlessly. Congrats!

Very nice! My wife and I sprung for a 2013 F150 XTR 4x4 this summer. I havent pulled anything with it, but am impressed with the gas mileage and power. Last winter I drove two new F150 pickups as patrol vehicles for the RCMP. Ours has a 6.5 foot box. You will like your new wheels.
