They were a requirement for us too. Much easier to get in and out with them.

That's why I went with the Amp power steps. I am short and this truck with the 20" wheels makes it more difficult to get in.

Ram 2500 Laramie Megacab Diesel. Waited until this last year to buy something to tow with it finally!

We call her Rosie (for Rosie-the-riveter, also my grandmother Rosemary, take your pick), we picked her up in New Mexico while on vacation and our Expedition broke down... towing a rental trailer. It was a stressful purchase, but we got a good price in the end, and I couldn't be happier with the truck.

Awesome, this is what they had on my job, for Boeing, well I don't work there now because I'm retired from there now. Nice truck.

So where is the pics at that you want to put here, on you pc or some place else like photobucket? If it on your pc all you do is, go down and hit the 'Manage Attachments' button and when it open it will ask you to upload your picture where you have it at in your pc and just hit the upload button and submit.

If it in like photobucket like I do, you just copy and paste. If you need more help just let me know or other will chime in.

Here's my (new to me) 2013 Ram 2500, LB, CC, 6.7 CTD.
Only had 32,000 when I became the 2nd owner.

Here she is after I installed the Cab lights:

Thanks. Actually I've had her since last Sept, just never posted any pics. I since added a B&W Turnover ball receiver, upgrade the Radio to the 5.0, added steering wheel controls and on Monday she'll get a CTS 2 monitor.

I love it when I can pick up a used vehicle that's not even broken in!

Dave..
Wish I had the intestinal fortitude to add clearance lights. I just can't see myself putting holes in my roof... Just thinking about it gives me the willies.

If you don't mind my asking, what was the cost of the upgrade to Uconnect 5.0? Does it require a program from the dealer or is it just a swap?

I bought the 5.0 Radio used for $150. Its a Plug-n-Play operation, nothing to program. The steering control kit is like $120 and its also a Plug-n-Play, once you remove your steering wheel.

NICE!

I SO wish DW and I could have looked at one of those a few weeks ago when we were shopping. It's out of our budget, but the local dealerships don't even have them on the lot with the diesels. Ended up with an Acadia; we won't use it for towing.

camper bob, It's my daily driver. Pricy but a really quiet, refined 4X4. Tow capacity is 7200 lbs. but plan on keeping my max trailer weight about 5600-5700 lbs when loaded.

Moving down from a 36 ft class A so will have to adjust cargo to the TT. Seems I always carried 3 times what I needed in the class A. I had the just in case syndrome. Wireman

You will love it. I used it to tow our 2015 Jayco 28BHS from Utah to Mt. Rushmore and back and it towed like a champ. 13 MPGs round trip.

I think we're going to be using the new "Family Truckster" (Acadia) more these days. Since we got it, DW has commented that riding in my truck is like riding in a "bath tub with wooden wheels!" LOL!!

How quickly she forgets that my truck rides better than her previous car ('06 Nissan XTerra); she's gotten spoiled, the Acadia rides like a dream.

volvite, do you know what the weight is with your TT loaded? Tongue weight?

Just curious. I rented a trailer to test pull. Your right pulls like a horse. I have 3000 miles and am averaging about 26-27 mpg about 80% highway. Not bad for a 5800 lb vehicle that is a joy to drive.

I wanted to stay with the 18" wheels for off road use so I had to stay with the limited. Wireman
