Depending on options, perhaps 1900 for an F-250 Diesel, with every available option, is possible. I wouldn't believe any lower numbers unless I saw the sticker.
My F-350 Lariat Crew 4x4 with the 6.2 is 3960#'s on the sticker. The only options I don't have are a sunroof and diesel.
Regardless, don't kid yourself to thinking the XD is close enough to a Super Duty. There are too many pieces and parts that could never measure up. Brake rotor size isn't the only design parameter that affects braking power. I loved my F-150, but the F-150's just don't have the poise when towing that a Super Duty does, nor should it.

Just posted the pictures
And I owned and F250 King Ranch 2013 payload was under 2000#

I feel the XD is great 1/2 ton option and I agree it's above the normal capability of a 1/2 ton

It also competed in some cases with the certain aspects of the HDs

If you got the impression I was stating the XD was the equivalent of any of the domestic 3/4s I'm sorry, I wasn't. I posted several pics of actual stickers for you viewing pleasure regarding my claim on payload. At the Platinum level, it comes out to about 2 men. My brother's Lariat while optioned well, is not loaded quite like the F250 Platinum and is 1941#, that would be two NFL tight ends difference. I'm technical enough to understand rotor diameter is not the only design parameter affecting braking power, but Nissan didn't skimp on the brake system. It's every bit as beefy as Ford or GM's 3/4 tons. I can point you to some performance reviews where it took on various trucks in braking if you like. I agree, an F150 is not a Super Duty and won't have the "poise" an F250 will. The XD is not a Super Duty and would never tow a 12K+ lbs load as well as the HDs. However, the XD was designed to be a towing machine within its weight limits. It weighs in at 7500# so the mass alone makes for a more stable tow machine in crosswind, than your typical half ton. At <11K lbs, the only place I've found the XD lacking versus my 2015 Dmax is in acceleration. It brakes every bit as well, handles trailer sway on par, and has some great trailering features. Not trying to sell anyone on the XD here, was just posting my tow vehicle pic, but those that pooh pooh its "tweener" capabilities either haven't done the research or are just brand loyal haters.

My dads mildly loaded diesel 2011 F250 is in the upper 1900# range. He was miffed when I showed him. That's just plain stupid when my completely loaded 2016 F150 King Ranch is just south of 1600#. My last "every option" diesel 2013 Lariat F350 was 3,880#.
Even though my rig is a daily driver for only 40k miles a year, I love the ride and all the options. While I could order a unicorn Heavy Duty Payload F150 Larist not anywhere near as loaded as my King Ranch, I could be close to 2300# payload. Well then, might as well pony up to an F350, in my book... NOT a King Ranch or Platinum, of course.

The only difference I ever note is in two things: bed length and tire pressure.
The longer bed seems to smooth out bumps better, and is smoother when loaded.
As for tire pressure, all my F350's were the 11,000 plus GVWR, and while only a difference in a sticker, my F350's were noted as 80# psi for the rear tires on the door jamb. My F250's noted 65# psi. Some say their F250's show 8O# on the door jamb, but I drive unloaded most of the time, and would loose fillings if I ran 80psi daily. I only aired up to 80# when loaded or towing my 1,450# tongue weight 32BHDS.
The difference in an F250 and F350 SRW is only the 2" vs. 4" spacer blocks in the rear, and the F350 comes with a standard auxiliary overload leaf in the rear pack. The part numbers for the rear axle and leaf pack are identical for the 250 and 350.... look it up if you don't believe. The overload leaf is the adder, and a separate part add.
The same axle ratios are available on both SRW trucks, although wheel sizes do require upgrades.
Spring upgrades for heavy duty options, as well as plow packages do alternate springs, but standard to standard trucks, leaf packs are the same.

What do you mean by longer bed? Aren't the F250 and F350 beds the same if you get the short or long bed?

Yes they're the same beds, also different rear spring codes are available for 250 vs 350, the spacer block and over load are not the only difference. Of coarse some of this depends on year models.

I haven't actually had it weighed but sticker has a max gvwr of 12,600 lbs, dry as completed by factory is 10,509 lbs. We're probably pretty close to the 2091 lbs of junk allowed just guessing. I believe the brochure gave it a pin weight of somewhere around 1900 lbs, it's a front living 339flqs
