Some very nice rigs there! Crabman, looks like you got yourself a nice upgrade from the 1500.

The silver truck is our 2011 and the Charcoal Gray one is our 2012. Besides the color the only difference is the 2011 is a SB and the 2012 is a LB. Awesome trucks.

This past week, I traded in my 2007 Chev Silverado 1500 for a 2009 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLE. This GMC 4x4 is the 6.0L gas with 6 speed transmission and 3:73 rear end. It has only 11,000 miles on it and is clean as a whistle. The price difference was something I couldn't pass up. It also has the factory towing mirrors, towing package, Z71 suspension and skid plates. We love our 22FB TT, and this truck is overkill for it, but there may be a small Jayco 5er in our future.

Seann, I am curious, are you referring to the truck or it's owner. The devil made me do it.

Nice combo, robo. Just being curious but what size spring bars are you using? I started out with 750`s but they were too small and went to 1200`s.

[QUOTE=ChooChooMan74;99917]My 06 Jeep Liberty Turbo Diesel towing my last rental trailer.

Rental?? Does your dealership rent or how would I find someone local? Why I'm asking is because we've only had our TT since November '11 and have family members asking to borrow it and my hubby & I have agreed that it's something we don't want to get into. If something happens during their use, hard feelings could transpire. Plus, they all want to use it for free! We went with our SIL and BIL, in which they borrowed someones 26 ft TT. First day of towing it, he hits the front right corner on something & tears a hole in it!! He agreed to fix it. Mind you, this happened in April. It is now October and he still hasn't fixed it and it's been sitting OUTSIDE in his side yard since then. Now, you can see why we won't allow anyone to borrow ours!!

I have 2 places that I know of that rents close to me. I would ask your local dealer if they do or know of anyone. Mine cost just under $700 for the week.

Some of the big RV rental places apparently rent TT's and 5ers as well... I only know this as when I went to their site the had adds for them for sale and if you hunt through the listings you will find trailers..
