pullrite hitch

well after using my pullrite hitch this season on my 01 suburban it will be going up for sale after my last trip.Its a great hitch but with the draw bar length and my 33' trailer it is a bit much to get it into tight spots.Im thinking of a reese dual cam any input on a w/d hitch or the reese would be great

How much additional length does the hitch add over a more conventional WD system? The Pullrite is supposed to be one of the best you can buy. But if you must switch, a Dual cam or Equalizer should do nicely.

it adds 5' to the trailer length of the trailer,so its about 38' total and it only turns 70* because its on a suburban.I love the no sway feel to it (almost strange) when traveling the highway.I hold a class A CDL so i have towed some large and heavy stuff in the past and the pullrite hitch works great but... just to much tracking to the inside of the turn to make getting in most sites a pain

Wow, did not realize it added 5 feet. That`s a lot. Its all I can do now to get in some of the older CG`s we frequent.

I dont know if you have seen a pullrite hitch and how its designed but it uses a draw bar,nothing like a Hensley

I have the reese dual cam 12k i like it - it was hard to setup and adjust (first time for me) but once i get it dialed in they sway control works great and the best part is you dont have to remove it when backing up. This was suggested by a member here i'll look for the link and attach it to this post

I have heard of this setup but I've never actually seen one hooked up. Do you have some pictures of yours hooked up you could post? It looks bulky by the web site photos. I also have a 33 ft rv I pull and I could see how you would have to really stay sharp with the extra length. My 330RLTS does not track behind my truck during a turn so I have to watch all my turns real close.
