Ram 2500
Brought her home on Wednesday evening. Ordered a tonneau cover and side steps (DW can barely climb in) this morning.

License plate looks old. What year? Is it diesel? I'm a Duramax/Allison guy but it looks nice. Congrats on the new truck...

Nice looking truck, Rob. My next diesel might just be a Cummins. If your previous TV was a gasser, you're in for a big surprise.

Thanks All! Went to the dealer out of curiosity and despite this being a factory order (very few diesels of any brand on the dealer lots here) they made an offer I couldn't refuse.
SouthCo - the truck is a 2016. The plate was transferred from the old truck which is why it's beaten up. I'm going to have to replace it soon in order to pass the MA annual safety inspection.
TCNashville - this is a diesel, upgrading from a 1/2T gasser (Tundra). Looking forward to the first towing experience next weekend.

Very nice truck. Since you are going from a gasser to a diesel, love to hear your feelings after your first pull. I just went from the 5.9 Cummins to the 6.7 Cummins and wow, what a difference. This truck is a hoss! Just rolled 5,000 miles on my 2015 ram 2500 and went in for my first oil change yesterday. Got 4 free oil changes with my purchase over a 2 year period so will make sure I use all of them. Again, Congrats on that beautiful rig. First thing I purchased for it was the steps for the DW and then Line-bed liner, and 5th wheel hitch!

I recently made a similar upgrade from a Tundra 5.7 to a 2015 Ram CTD. My Tundra handled my trailer weight very well, gas mileage was about 7-8 with the new trailer and were over our payload.
Upgraded to the Ram for about 1000 lbs more payload. I can definitely feel the torque coming in so low on the Cummins. My Tundra felt planted when towing (had E rated tires, TRD sway and airbags) so the Ram doesn't feel like an amazing difference to me. I don't need to have as much weight on my WDH bars with the Ram as I did on the Tundra, so I have less groaning and popping driving through campgrounds. I haven't towed any mountains yet, but I am looking forward to the ease with which the Cummins will climb and descend higher elevations.
Congrats!

We went from a 2010 Tundra to a 2012 Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins Crew cab. The Tundra towed fine but the big difference was in the mountains. We were white knuckled coming down the hills but with the Ram and the exhaust brake is so much better and we had more control.
DH took the 2012 took the Ram in for an oil change in 2014 and came home with a 2014 Ram 6.7 Cummins Mega Cab. He felt the Mega Cab would be more comfortable for our DD and he liked all the new features especially the coil suspension of the new Ram. Made our cross country trips much more relaxing.
That was an expensive oil change. But the next few oil changes are free.

night and day difference in towing!
I thought I was in towing heaven when I moved from a 1/2T chevy truck 350ci and 5 speed to a 3/4T suburban with 454. That minor joy was nothing compared to my 2010 cummins powered CCLB ram truck!!
