Recommend good tow mirrors for 2006 Jeep Liberty

I was wondering if anyone has had good luck with clip on mirrors. Will the clip on mirrors extend out far enough. Do the door mounted ones work better? In the past I had a popup so seeing behind me was not a problem. Now that I am pulling a TT that is one thing I have left to do for my towing set. My Liberty has the factory towing package, I have a brake controller, and I am get a equalizer hitch with anti-sway. Thanks for your recommendations.

The cipa slip on one worked great on my f150. No vibration and easy on easy off.

I've got a set in my garage, basically brand new. I bought them and put them on only to see how they looked and then put them back in the box. We ended up getting a different TT and TV before I even got a chance to drive with them so they've never even seen the road.

I can't get to my garage since it's snowed in from last weeks blizzard so I can't say exactly what model # they are but I believe they are this set of universal mirrors.

$45 + shipping and they're yours.

I'm not sure the CIPA SLIDE-ON towing mirrors will fit a Jeep Liberty - Was looking on-line and can't come up with any that look like these...

I had great luck using these CIPA slide-on mirrors for my F150 truck... I was not impressed all that much with the CLIP-ON types...

This is the set I ordered from amazon for my 2011 Grand Cherokee. I have yet to receive them to test them out, but they seem to fit a wide range of vehicles and have good reviews.

I have a set of Milenco Aero 2 mirrors. There are two thumbs screws to secure them on. I like them and I would say there is no vibrations.

http://www.milenco.com/products/mirrors/

They are very adjustable, for the amount of reach you want.

The rubber strap-on type I picked up from CW are just enough to see both sides on my TT but would have liked it to be extended out a bit further.

I got 11 seasons out of a set of McKesh door mount mirrors. I'd still be using them if my new truck did not have factory towing mirrors. IMHO, the door mirrors, like McKesh, are the best choice. Easy on, easy off, excellent vision, tremendously durable.

I just ordered a set. Hope they work better than the crappy ones I have now. They better for $130.00 w/ delivery. I don't mind the price if they work as well as advertised.

Tried amazon but I don't think they ship into Canada. Not a big deal I just hope they work like I am anticipating.

I think you will like them. It took a couple of trips to find what I call the sweet spot. The only “issue” is that my DW has to get out of the TV to adjust the passenger side mirror (short arms).

Hahaha. Thanks Jagiven. I will tell my wife that if her arms are not long enough to adjust the mirror I may have to find a new copilot who's arms are. Lol

We tow with a 2005 liberty and tried the clip on mirrors ... did not like at all. Then got the door mounted and work much much better. Ordered from JC Whitney.

Got my new mirrors and put them on just see how they fit. They look good and the factory mirrors still work. Now just need to pickup the new Skylark in the spring, it looks like it will be a while before spring is here in MN!

Yes it only took a few minutes. Now that they are adjusted it should take less.
