Roadmaster Active Suspension

Has anyone had this installed? Is it a big difference and worth the money? I was quoted about $600 installed. They say this increases the vehicles load carrying. Does anyone know by how much. I'm looking at a new trailer that's a little over weight and wondering if this will take care of the problem and I can get it.

I can't comment on the "Roadmaster" product, but I do question it's ability to increase a TV's specified payload capacity. IMO the product may improve how a TV handles when operating near/at payload capacity, but not actually increase the payload capacity.

I've installed the Roadmaster Active Suspension on my F-150 and love it. It does a great job of reducing rear end squat under load. It helped eliminate the porpoising I was getting towing on rough roads. The truck generally rides and handles better unloaded, loaded, and while towing. Got a great deal on it through a group buy on The F150 Forum and installed it myself (it's super simple) in about a half hour. It comes with two discs (white & black) to set the spring tension. They say the white disc is good for a 20% increase in payload and the black disc is good for a 40% increase. Like Bob said, I look at it as a 20% & 40% increase in ability to handle the vehicles rated payload since nothing can technically increase the payload rating.

Thanks, I did some reading about it on the F150 Forum as well. I spoke to Roadmaster today and I think I will be buying it through the group buy as well. I was quoted $600 installed from my dealer, but the group buy price is so much cheaper and looks simple to install.
