Scooter carrier

Looking for opinions. If I install a frame mounted hitch, scooter carrier and scooter to the rear of my trailer will I be ok as far as safe towing goes? Hitch weighs 92 lbs, carrier 64 lbs, scooter 194 for a total of 350lbs. My plan would be to store all my camping stuff in the front of the trailer to offset/balance the weight. I already have 100/150 lbs of gear in the front under bed storage.

Since no one else has chimed in yet...My rear hitch on my 5er is only rated for 300 lbs (Not sure what yours is rated for), but with my bike carrier and 4 bikes I'm at about 280 lbs. I'm not sure what your TV is, but I've seen an Excursion with a front hitch carry a scooter with a carrier like you have pictured. Just another possible option for you.

Should I be including the weight of the hitch in my calculations? Because it is mounted to the frame. If not than I'm just about 255 lbs for the carrier and scooter.

Just the carrier and scooter weight. Not the weight of the hitch itself.
