I tow with a 2014 taco long wheel base and the same 2016 264bh and it tows great. Your right about the fuel mileage though, it sux. I might go up to a 5300 lbs trailer soon, I hope I have the same results.

Hey there! I own a 2016 Tacoma and a 2017 Jayflight 23RB. Since the trailer is wider than my truck I bought tow mirrors but they still don't let me see much behind me. Case in point, we were being pulled over by the police for a dripping fresh water leak and didn't even know he was back there... Any ideas?

A police car behind you would have to be pretty far back before you could see him. They are surely aware you can't see behind a long travel trailer?

I tow a 2016 264BHW with a 2016 Ram 1500 5.7...I don't see how you guys are towing that trailer with a Tacoma...must be hard to keep speed limit on grades? I know mine kicks down a few gears and revs high on hills.

We did okay! Our trailer weighs 4,370 lbs and the 2016 Tacoma is capable of towing 6800. So, even with added weight of essentials it does fine. It's just not as wide as a big truck so it's difficult to see around the trailer without tow mirrors.

Just a note, one thing I would definitely be careful of is your GAWR, I was over my GAWR by 100 pounds towing a X17Z in my 2015 Tacoma TRD OR 4x4.

Anyways, enjoy and best of luck
