Thinking back to years gone by…….I had purchased a new pickup truck in 1982, had that truck 12 years and put on 145,000 miles. After the OEM tires, I put on two sets of others, so typically got 4 to 5 years out of each set. Never experienced dry rot cracking, but tread wear forced the changes. This speaks to my comment earlier, that with tires it’s use it or lose it. Probably one can expect within 4 or 5 years either wear out or dry rot.
