Question Tow vehicle for 351 RSTS

I'm looking at the above mentioned RV but am stumped as to what truck I will need to safely tow it. Have looked at a Silverado 3500HD (Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8). Will that effectively do the job?

What year Chevy? In 2011 they strengthened the frame to increase payload. They also increased HP and torque numbers starting in 2011. I traded an 09 3500 DRW for a 2012 single rear wheel, the dually was much more stable in turns. Check the loaded pin weight and start from there would be my suggestion. Either one would have the power to pull it

Most definitely, I have a 2013 Pinnacle 36 KPTS and my gross weight is 450 lbs heavier. I tow with an F350 SD 6.7L TD Crew Cab Long Bed and it handles the trailer with no issues. I would consider getting the long bed for clearance between the trailer and the rear window. If not you will need to get a sliding hitch.

Also welcome to the forum

You should have no issues and will love the exhaust brake. I'm on my 4th Duramax and each one have been very reliable.
Good Luck & Enjoy

You should be in very good shape to tow.
