Thanks to all of you for your responses!

In a few weeks I will have the TT and the first thing will be a trip to the CAT scales to sort out the remaining issues. I will follow up with a post to bring closure.

Look forward to seeing your CAT results.., and note that it takes three separate passes over the CAT scale to get all the information that will be important to you (refer to CAT link in prior post). Load your TV/TT combination up first before hitting the scale for the best results.

Our combination is very similar to yours. Our trailer gross is 7000, tow rating 8600 (truck is 2wd). We haven't done a long trip yet, but the combo tows well. But we load light with the trailer. When we traded and unloaded we went through everything, what we hadn't used in two years went in a pile. What we used regularly went back in..
