I had the slip on CIPA mirrors on my old 1500 and they weren't bad for the price but the mirror was pretty small. I have aftermarket full head tow mirrors on my 2500 and would not use anything smaller. I think the problem you are going to run into is finding a custom or aftermarket mirror for such a new year model...nothing listed in CIPAs website or eBay for the new Colorado yet.

Replaced my original mirrors with factory tow mirrors. Was actually quite easy. Found them to fit my truck on Amazon.

I use Cipa slip on as well but don't care for them very much. I can't afford factory tow mirrors for my truck and as stated it's too new for any after market ones. As soon as they become available I will jump on them.

Here is one brand called Grand Aero. Similar to what I have.

Grand Aero Clip-On Towing Mirrors - 2 Per Box-pplmotorhomes.com

Here is what I have and they are big enough. Believe me, they stay on until you take them off. Had mine for 4 years now. I have my round bar set down (photo shows it up) so this mirror is aligned with my regular Expedition mirrors.

What kind of marks do they leave on your stock mirrors? I'm looking for a better temporary solution then the Cipas I'm currently using. Mirrors for my truck with my options are about $1200 and I just can't justify that now or likely ever...

Mine leave no marks at all. There is a small square rubber pad on the bottom of the top 2 clamping jackscrew. Stand by a few seconds here and I will go take a photo and attach it to this.
See below photo of the clamping points.

Thanks for the photo - I think i will give these a shot as the Cipa's I'm using have way too small field of vision.

IMO, I honestly do not think you will regret it. That was the best I could find other than replacing my factory mirrors with factory towing mirrors which was way too expensive.

When you get them and try them, please post how you like them? I also placed small 2 1/2 - 3" round wide angle mirrors in the bottom outside corners so when I go around corners, I can still see the trailer wheels.

Happy with my Cipa slip-ons. Yeah, the mirror is not huge, but it works and it may be the least expensive option out there.
