Towing with Wife's 4Runner Question

i have a 197 Feather lite...and my wifes car is a 2004 4 runner V6...we leave the TT at a covered storage at the lake we go to and the campground is literally 1/4 mile down the road....i use the 4 runner to put our 22 ft boat in and have never had an issue towing the boat with it short distances...

Do you think it is possible to do the same with the TT...to use the 4 runner to tow it to and from storage...

any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

Shouldn't be a problem short distance.
I am 4500 miles into a trip with my 4Runner, 2008 V6 pulling a 165 Sport 3,500lbs.

You'll be fine for that distance..

We pulled a 3,500# x17z with a 2007 4Runner. It did the job but we weren't thrilled with it. I wouldn't go higher then 3,500# with a 4Runner for regular trips but 1/4 mile shouldn't be much of a problem IMHO.
