Trans temp & pressure?

I can see the need to monitor oil temp but how about trans oil pressure?

inbski-- When towing, I think Trans temp is the most important. I don't know of a trans pressure gauge. The viscoty of trans fluid may be to light for pressure readings, thats why temp is the big factor. Larry

Internal hydraulic pressures are controlled by the computer. But like Larry said, tranny temps are important. Stock tranny coolers are somewhat adequate, but an aftermarket cooler and temp gauge will go along way in terms of keeping tabs on tranny conditions.
