Waiting for our GMC 3500HD Duramax

We lost our 2011 Jayco 26BH to hail last year so since our daughter was going to attend nursing school decided to trade the 2011 2500HD for a comfy 2012 Tahoe LTZ for the wife. We enjoy the creature comforts of the Tahoe but miss my truck. Started looking at campers again but when factoring in the towing capabilities/characteristics of the Tahoe not very happy with out choices. Wife said we can go back to a truck again as long as we have all the amenities she now enjoys so we've ordered a 2015i GMC 3500HD SLT Crew Cab 4x4 Duramax in Bronze Alloy Metallic with Cocoa Dune Leather. Went with the SLT as she likes the chrome grill and bumpers, she hates the look of the Denali. This is the first vehicle I've ever ordered out of 40 we've owned. After my wife test drove a Duramax there was no doubt in her mind that we would be ordering a diesel. By the look on her face I will probably be replacing tires more often than not as her right foot seemed to be linked to her ears hearing the turbo spooling up. Looking forward to getting it, now the decision to continue with a bumper pull or 5th wheel.

Might as well get a fifth wheel, then you won't have to make that decision on down the road.

They make a great tow vehicle. Congratulations.

Sweet truck. You will love it. I have a 2013 F350 with the Powerstroke. I imagine it drives very similarly. I will never go back to gas. Enjoy!
